• Sorry for opposing your nomination but I would like to oppose your bid for the moment being. Nepali wikipedia already has 3 admins and you dont have much experience here. In other wikipediae, by consensus, a used requires at least 3 months of presence and more than 100 edits to qualify for nomination. You can contribute a lot in the user level. For specific tasks, you can contact the admins. If you have anything particular in your mind which you would like to implement in this wikipedia, please apply for temorary adminship (illustrating your plans). 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?

Answer:

• Thanks. Since there is a limited number of sysop and a handful number of active contributors in my language pages of Wiki, I know I have to do almost all jobs as an administrator (whichever a sysop can do). I hope I can contribute to watch and improve the mistakes especially with the language, manage the articles and present the contents in a lively way.

2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

A:

• Nepali is the Lingua Franca between 28 million Nepalese people and it is used by the equal number people outside the country. Presently literature in this language is not fully digitized and published online. I see high potential of open source sites like Wikipedia to tackle the situation that's why I am interested in it.
• I have and will try to increase the number of quality reading materials that can be good reference for everybody.
• I will be helping my friends to make them active and give a quality output.
• Moreover, I am trying to increase the number of active contributors from the Nepalese speaking community around the world.
• We hope we shall be able to make a formal wiki community in this year.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A:

• Yes, many times I had conflicts. There were many conflicts in articles editing and contents. Since I have already worked as an news reporter, I just followed the rule of ABC (Accuracy, Balance and Credibility) and judged to give a concrete shape to those articles.
• Once between two of my active contributing friends in wiki there was a clash. I approached both of them and tried to settle the problem which is settled now.
• I hope I will use my conscience to judge if I will face a trouble.

There are 4 admins in Nepali wikipedia already. Compared to the number of articles and the rate of edits, the numbers of admin is sufficient for the moment being. However, if someone would like to apply for adminship, please work here for at least 3 months and edit more than 100 times. Otherwise, there is always possibility that the adminship request is opposed.

Request for Bureaucrat Access to गणेश पौडेल

Dear All, We have been working in Wikipedia to maintain it's quality as well as the good number of articles. I have worked in Nepali Wikipedia for more than 6(six) Years and my edit count is approaching 10 thousand. In last few days we are doing something mentionable in increasing our community. There are 6 sysop and no bureaucrat to manage the community yet. Therefore, I request my friends to support me as a bureaucrat in our wiki community.
