संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाको झण्डा
संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाको झण्डा वा अमेरिकी झण्डा संयुक्त राज्यको राष्ट्रिय झण्डा हो। यसमा तेह्रवटा बराबर रातो र सेतो तेस्रो पट्टि छन् र ५० वटा तारा छ । झण्डामा रहेका ५० वटा ताराले ५० संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाका राज्यहरूलाई बुझाउँछ, र १३ वटा पट्टिहरूले तेह्र ब्रिटिस उपनिवेशलाई जनाउँछ जसले ब्रिटिस साम्राज्यबाट स्वतन्त्रता घोषणा गरेर अमेरिकाको पहिलो राज्य बनेका थिए।[२] यो झण्डालाई तारे र धर्के ,[३][४] ओल्ड ग्लोरी [५] उपनामले पनि चिनिन्छ।

अमेरिकी झण्डाको वर्तमान डिजाइन यसको २७ औँ डिजाइन हो , झण्डाको डिजाइन १७७७ देखि यता २६ पटक आधिकारिक रूपमा संशोधन गरिएको छ। ४८ तारे झण्डा ४७ वर्ष सम्म कायम रह्यो, जब तक कि ४९ तारे संस्करण ४ जुलाई, १९५९ देखि आधिकारिक भयो। ५० तारे झण्डाको आदेश तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति आइजनहावरले २१ अगस्ट १९५९ मा आदेश दिएका थिए र जुलाई १९६० मा अपनाइएको थियो। यो अमेरिकी झण्डा सबैभन्दा लामो समय सम्मा प्रयोग गरिएको संस्करण हो र ६० वर्ष भन्दा लामो समय देखी प्रयोगमा छ। [६]
