Year article outputs the title of the article in which a year appears.

Usage

{{ Year article | 1=year | 2=offset }}

The template requires one parameter: the year, supplied as an integer. Positive numbers are AD; negative numbers are BC. An optional offset may be given as a number of years. The output is the title of the article in which the year appears. (If the year is has no article then the output is the title which might be expected, e.g. AD 5678 or 5678 BC.) Year zero with an offset is treated as if the year were inserted between 1 BC and AD 1.

• {{Year article|1000|66}} → AD 1066
• {{Year article|-55}} → 55 BC
• {{Year article|-55|100}} → AD 46 (there being no year zero)
• {{Year article|500|-80}} → AD 420 (420 being a disambiguation page)
• {{Year article|-911}} → 911 BC (911 BC being a redirect from the subtopic)
• {{Year article|0}} → Year zero
• {{Year article|0|5}} → AD 5 (Five years after where year zero would have been had it existed)
• {{Year article|0|-5}} → 5 BC (Five years before where year zero would have been had it existed)
