Aryan race or descent from the Caucasian Mountains at the confluence of present day Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan to Aryan or Iran, Aryak or Iraq, Ariana or Afghanistan through Sindhghati (present day Pakistan) to Saurashtra (Gujarat) of India, Jamnagar, Kanyakunj (Uttar Pradesh), Sisaugadh (Northern)  He is said to have entered Jumla through Garhwal.  Our ancestors of this Aryan dynasty were known from Chalise Thar before Bhattarai.  The surnames prevalent in the Nepali community are found to be based on place name or rank name, karma / education / initiation.  Similarly, our original surname was Bhattarai, which is derived from (1) Bhattaj = Bhattarai (2) Bhatt (Bhatt + Rai), or a resident of Bhattabad.  According to Shikhar Nath Subedi's Thargotra Pravara as well as the distinguished investigator Yogi Narharinath, Bhattarai's ancestors lived in a village called Sinja in Karnali province or Bhattabada in Dailekh (a village or toll in the far west is called Bada).  There is an opinion that the ancestry of the ancestors living there became Bhattarai through Bhattabada-Bhattabara-Bhattarara.  Similarly, Bhatt means scholar and Rai means king. It is said that Bhattarai's ancestor Garbhubhat was awarded the honorary title of "Rai" by Sinjali king Abhay Malla and another scholar Ramdas Bhatt was awarded the honorary title of "Rai" by Jumla's Kalyal king Baliraj Rawal.  According to mythology and mythology, this tribe started from Rishi Vashishta and progressed through Parashar, Vyas and Shukadev.  It is said that only his son Raman Upadhyaya of the tenth generation left the surname Bhattarai and became known as Chalise. He is said to have influenced everyone by studying the scriptures of King Uday Verma and reciting forty chapters of Shuklayajurveda with one foot.  It is also mentioned that the tribes of both Bhattarai and Chalise are Vashishta and  Pravara is Vashishta-Indrapravara-Abhadravashu.  Thus, there are some other legends behind Bhattarai being called Chalise.  King Uday Verma also bestowed the title and a land named Barhabise in Achham district.  That title turned into Thar.  From there, his descendants became known as Chalise Thar.  Another similar story is heard.  There was a temple in one of the villages under the Achham kingdom in the far west.  In that temple, a Brahmin from Raman Padhyaya, also known as Raman Padhyaya, used to stand on one foot and recite forty chapters of Vedas in the morning.  The king is also visiting the temple in the morning.  There is a small pond near the temple.  Next to the pond is a drying lotus tree.  One morning they were not seen in the Brahmin temple.  As the king did not know the name of the Bedapathi Brahmin, when he did not see the Brahmin, he asked, "Where did the forty-year-old Baje, who stood on one foot and recited forty chapters of the Bed, go today?"

When the king said that, he was searched.  After understanding everything about the Brahmin, he thought of testing him and said, "If you and your mantra have power, make the tree that is drying from the top green."  Hearing that, Brahmins also performed Yajna with Mrityunjaya text.  Surprisingly, while performing the Yajna, the tree grew green.  Impressed by this, he was given the title of Rajguru as well as land in a place called Chalsa.  From then on, he and his son Bhattarai, who lived in Chalsa Birta, became known as Chalise Thar.  In any case, there is a place called Chalsa on the Dailekh-Jajarkot border even now and there are forty Brahmins living there, so even if it is a legend, it cannot be disbelieved.  In any case, the same scholar Pandit Raman Padhye found a place called Chalsa in Birta from Achham Naresh Uday Burma.  It can be said that the introduction of Bhattarai Tharka, a scholar who memorized 40 chapters of the Veda by specializing in the study and teaching of Shuklayajurveda in the royal court of a king of western Nepal, later became forty.

Thus, from the sage Bhatt to Raman Padhya of the tenth generation of the Bhattarai dynasty, a branch of the Bhattarai dynasty seems to have adopted the Vashishtagotri Chalise surname.  His descendants are moving eastwards through Achham, passing through Dailekh, Surkhet, Baglung, Gulmi, Kaski, passing through the banks of Masyangdi, passing through Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Kathmandu and moving towards Ramechhap.  Even further, the Saket fortys were expanding in East Sikkim, Assam, Guwahati and Bhutan.  Hango, who came to Kathmandu from Jaryotar of Sindhupalchowk, was first found to have settled in Jagdol above Gokarneshwar Municipality, Arubari.  It is not known which of Raman Padhya's children came here from Chalsa at what time.  According to one source, the forty came to the valley from the west and first settled in Thankot.  From there, none of his descendants went straight to Kathmandu and went straight to Jaryotar in Deupur of Sindhupalchowk, number one in the east.  There must be some reason behind going directly to the Indus instead of settling in Kathmandu.  It can be assumed that this was done while searching for a suitable place for the environment, climate and living conditions like the western hills.  Coming from an agricultural region in the western hills, Kathmandu's culture, economy and way of life were definitely not suitable for them.  Therefore, seeing the lack of coordination here, it was natural for them to choose the roots of the Indus in the highlands.  Before that, we were moving from west to east.
